Response Mailer Tutorial - Broadcast a message to subscribers

This tutorial walks you through the steps to setup Response Mailer to send a broadcast message to all your subscribers.
A broadcast email is sent on specific date and it does not interfere with the scheduled followup message sequence.
Step 1: Createt a Broadcast Message
Select the "Message" ribbon tab.Choose your campaign from the "Selected Campaign" box or create a new campaign.
Step 2: Show Broadcast Message List
Choose the "Message" from the Campaign Messages group. The will show all the broadcast messages.
Step 3: Create a Broadcast Message
Click the "New" button to add a new message. The following screen will be displayed.
Step 4: General Broadcast Information
The following screen will be displayed.
The key fields on this screen are :
- Name – enter the message title which will be used to identify this message.
- Schedule – enter the time that the message should be sent.
- Contacts – choose the category to filter the contact list. The message will be sent to all the contacts in the list.
Step 5: Message Header content
The following screen will be displayed.
The key fields on this screen are :
- To – enter the the recipient email and name.
- Cc – the carbon copy emails and names, if needed.
- Bcc – enter the blind carbon copy emails and names, if needed.
- Subject – enter the subject of the message.
- Attachments – If you wish to include a file with the message then click on the “...” button and select the file for the attachment.
Step 6: Message Body content
The following screen will be displayed.
The key fields on this screen are :
- Body – enter the body of the message. For HTML message you can utilize the toolbar to add formatting to the message.
You can add additional messages by repeating Step 3 and Step 6.
After entering the all your messages you can proceed to add your contact that will receive that broadcast messages.
