This tutorial walks you through the steps to block a web site in KidSplorer.
KidSplorer maintains a list of child appropriate sites web sites. You can create your own list and use it alone or in combination with the KidSplorer lists. You can temporary block a particular web site by adding it to the Block website list.
Step 1: Parental Mode
Choose option “Parental Mode” from the “File” menu.
You can also click the “Padlock” icon on the toolbar.
Step 2: Parental Mode Password
The following screen will be displayed.
If prompted, enter the parental mode password, then click OK.
Step 3: Settings Screen
The following screen will be displayed.
Choose “Web Sites" on the side bar.
Step 4: Allowed Web Site List
The following screen will be displayed.
Click the "Edit Block List" button.
Step 5: Add Web Site
The following screen will be displayed.
Click the 'Add'button to add a new web site address.
Step 6: Blockved Web Site
The following screen will be displayed.
Enter the web site address and click then OK button.
Repeat Step 5 and 6 to add more sites.
Click the OK button to return to the 'Parental Mode Web Site' screen.
Click OK to exit Parental Mode and return to Child Mode.
Now your child will not be able to visit the the sites that were just added.
