I have created a responder but it is not working the way I wat it to. Is there a way for me to send you the file so that you can take a look at it and tell me what I am doing wrong?

You can send us the file that has all the information about your autoresponders. This file stores the followup responders, normal responders and setting information you have setup.
The file is called FollowupMailer.mdb.

In additon, this file stores the password for your mailbox. There is no need for us to know your password, so before you send us the file you must save your POP3 and SMTP password to ***.

  1. Start Followup Mailer.
  2. Select File/Mail Account from the main menu.
  3. Hightlight the first Account in the list and select Edit/Edit item from the menu.
  4. On the General tab, if you have a password setup then change it to "***".
  5. Select the Outgoing Server tab, if you have a password setup then change it to "***".
  6. Click the OK button to save
  7. Repeat step 4 and 6 for any other Mail Account that you have setup.
  8. Exit Followup Mailer.
  9. Locate the folder that Followup Mailer is installed in, usaully this is c:\Program Files\FollowupMailer.
  10. Zip the FollowupMailer.mdb and email the zip file.
You can use Winzip to zip the file or Zip a File in Windows XP
  11. Also forward to us a copy of a test email that should work with this responder.

Note: Followup Mailer will not be able to process any emails since we have set the password to "***". In order to use the program you will have to set the POP3 and SMTP password to what it should be. After you have set the password use the "Test connection" button to verify that you can connect the mail server.
