I need a program that does the following things-

-imports the addresses of people who sign up to my list
-keeps track of the date they signed up and sends them email newsletters according to that date. so for example
person 1 signs up on july 1. gets intro letter. a month later he's on email #4
person 2 signs up aug 1st. while person 1 is already on email 4, person 2 is just getting the intro letter. make sense?
-takes care of unsubscribers

Response Mailer can easily be setup to send out the sequential emails that you need.

Here is short outline of what you will need to do
1. Create a new followup responder and add the sequential emails that you wish to send out.
2 After setting up the newsletters you can specify the time sequence of the release of each letter to subscribers.
3. If you already have a list subscribers you can import them into the program.
4. Setup an opt-in to automatically add new subscribers.
5. As new subscribers are added they will begin receiving the first newsletter and subsequent ones at the appropriate time. The program will independently keep track of the news letter delivery to each subscriber.
6. Setup an opt-out to automatically remove subcribers.
