|
|
Hi I just downloaded the trial version of kidsplorer and added some web sites i dont want my daughter to view on line and its still allowing the sites to pop up. How or what do I do to make these sites not come up. I went to parental mode
clicked on web sites and clicked on change my restricted web sites and added the two I dont want her going on and the web sites keep coming back on. What am I doing wrong? Does the box beside the restricted web sites need to be checked or not in order for this to work?
Need help asap... To get this thing up and running so I can continue blocking web sites she is trying to go to. Mom in demand of attention,lol... |

You can setup KidSplorer to either allow access to specific web sites or you can block access to specific website.
In your case you want to allow your child to go to any sites except a few selected ones. You would need to put a check mark for both Restricted lists.
Here is what you would need to do block specific web sites.
- Click the parental mode button
- If prompted, enter the parental mode password, then click OK.
- Select the Web Sites tab
- Ensure that the the blocking level is set to '2'
- Ensure that 'Use KidSplorer Restricted List' is checked
- Ensure that 'Use My Restricted List' is checked
- Click the 'Change My Restricted Web Site' button
- Type the address of the web site, and click the 'Add' button.
Repeat this step to add more web sites.
