How do I move the program to another computer.

I have Response Mailer working fine on my laptop. I would like to move the program to my server which is always on, that way the program will always send my auto reply messages.
Can I copy my active autoresponder items or would I have enter eveything all over?

Answer
You don't need to enter the information again. All you need to do is copy the files that store the information from your laptop to your server.
You will copy all the auto responders, mailboxes and setting information you have already setup.

1. On your laptop make a backup of the folder that ResponseMailer in installed in, usaully this is c:\Program Files\ResponseMailer. You can simply use Winzip to zip all the files in the folder.
   
2. Install ResponseMailer on the server, lets assume that you installed it in the c:\Program Files\ResponseMailer folder.
   
3. Copy the ResponseMailer.exe and the ResponseMailer.mdb file for your laptop to the c:\Program Files\ResponseMailer folder on the server.
   You will be prompted on whether to overwrite the files, choose Yes to overwrite the files.
   
4. Load Response Mailer on the server and check that all the information has been copied.
   
5. Send as test message to verify that it is working properly.
