Hi will this work with my aol email account and does my computer have to turned on for this program to autorespond to my emails

ResponseMailer uses your POP3 and SMTP server to read and send mail.
AOL utilizes a highly proprietary mail system and cannot be used for ResponseMailer because it does not support POP mail.
However, there is a solution that will allow you to get around this. There are a number of programs will allow you to send and receive AOL Mail from any standard email program. Once you have setup one of these agents, Response Mailer can use your AOL mail account.

Your computer must be turned on for the program to autorespond your emails.
Response Mailer software needs to be running in order to respond to incoming emails or send follow-up messages. Depending on what you need you can setup the program to check your responders from 1-59 minutes or 1-999 hours. In some situations you may want to simply run your responder once once per day or whenever you turn on your computer.
