Follow-up Mailer is an automatic email autoresponder that can follow up with your prospects and customers to increase sales and save you an enormous amount of time. My own experience, based on years of in-the-trenches experience suggests that the minimum number of timed follow-ups is anywhere from nine to thirty. I use it not only for follow-up sales messages, but also to distribute an e-zine. How can autoresponders help my business? I've found it is generally NOT a good idea to put blatant advertisements in these messages, especially for pay-to-surf, MLM or affiliates. It is no problem to use these free services during your system startup and upgrade later when everything is in place. Follow up for an order or other communication. I am sure you know by now that nothing is really "free" on the Internet, or anywhere else for that matter. Knowledge of technical elements like SMTP, DNS, RDNS, MX records, static IP, RFC, EHLO, Mime types, CAN-SPAM, Sender ID, SPF, email authentication, content filters, false positives, undeliverable error, feedback loops, and Mail Transfer Agents are all required. Don't overwhelm them, just send them something useful and remind them of your site or product or whatever.
